"A new you in 42"

Haha. I have been active every day since 30th March , completed the 5x50 challenge then doing this for 29 days ..79 days straight ..ok I ll keep going for another 63 ... probably a good idea given the lovely food I will be forced to eat haha.
I think walking around Venice, Kotor , Dubrovnik , Rome etc will be a real hardship haha. Better remember and pack my trainers

That is good, but the exercise will just become second nature. If you stop you will lose a lot of the fitness you have gained. You know you can do it. Also, we will be following your example!

Forgotten about my exercise today in all the distractions. About 20 minutes walking and I mowed the lawn.

Also found the Bugs Bunny / Roadrunner tape for watching during rowing :) Meep Meep!

The Sporty Forty Club?

40 minutes minimum each day?

Lose weight by September 8?

This is the date children return to school after the summer break, where I live.

Feel alive in 35?

Woke about 4am and can't sleep and my brain is buzzing! Sorry lol

OK Jamrox, I'm the same as Pollylocks really, I'll go with the flow. The ambitious part of me says 'let's do longer this time'. The realist says 'I need a short rest, I'm struggling to keep it up'. The sloth says 'Oh, God not again'. The sociable part of me (yes, that's what I said) says 'Great, I like the chatting about what we've done even on days when it was hard to get going'. Maybe that last one is most relevant to me right now, so whatever you all decide I'll be there. Maybe anywhere between 30-70 ish days for me?

i was proper busy yesterday and apart from work i didn't have enough time to pass wind, so i have to go into the shopping mall thingy to grab something so with this thread on my mind and my guilt pangs of not knowing how i was going to fit in some movement, i ran into the mall across the ground floor up the escalator across the top floor and back through the mall in reverse, the security person didn't know weather to tackle me to the ground or run away at the top of the escalator lol you guys are gonna get me arrested :)

How about doubling up on the currently challenge with 'Walk some more for 84'?
Good but that would exclude me. Can't walk for more than a couple of minutes. Could go in my wheelchair, but that would be cheating!
Change the 'walk' to 'do'? That would cover it. For the walkers- extend distance, speed etc. for other types of exercise the 'do some more' could be either extending current exercise, or trying something new.

I wish I had your imaginative brains .
Whats it to be people ( democracy in action lol)
Do we go for shorter or longer time ?

I keep thinking that my physio told me two weeks ago to review exercise levels every 6 weeks or so, then increase and vary type of exercise. Sort of give body a kick start every so often.
I bet there would be plenty volunteers to kick start me.

Hahahahaha! I now have a vision of Andy12345, running backwards, fartleking through the shopping mall with security guy in hot pursuit holding his nose.

Apologies @Pipp but I overlooked that. Either 'Do some more for 84' or 'Exercise some more for 84' would probably be reasonable alternatives.

Struggling today. Sorry Andy12345, but I can't get to work today. Have managed 2x5 mins of gentle stretching exercises. Having a rest, then will try to put in another 20 mins. Still can't get to swimming pool, too doped up on meds.
