Hello, I can't really advice much on your readings. But do you keep a log or a record of your readings to spot how many times you run high? However I've linked diabetes symptoms here:https://www.diabetes.org.uk/diabetes-the-basics/diabetes-symptomsHey I’ve been feeling unwell for quite a while with symptoms ranging from dizziness, cold and clammy sweats, nausea, shaking, pins n needles in hand, fatigue, funny feeling in eyes. I started doing my blood sugar measures and these range from 5.7 to 12.5. My lowest fasting reading was 9. I’ve been to Gp who says it’s the menopause! My readings are normal, well I don’t feel normal. I even nearly passed out in the street, I was wandering about like I was drunk and couldn’t focus!
Any advice???
Thanks everyone. I have been taking readings for the past 5 days and took them this morning to doc who didn’t this there was anything wrong with them x
....I have to say, you don't sound menopausal... Do what others have suggested: Check before a meal and 2 hours after, keep a log of what you ate, and ask a doc, ANY doc, for a HbA1c test. If your GP doesn't comply, ask for another GP or a referral to an endo. It's your health, don't let it get shrugged off with a stereotypical dismissal based on age and sex.Hey I’ve been feeling unwell for quite a while with symptoms ranging from dizziness, cold and clammy sweats, nausea, shaking, pins n needles in hand, fatigue, funny feeling in eyes.
