I am 39 years old, in 2 months I lost 20 kg of weight, and I was not obese. I had an OGTT, at 2 hours my sugar was 10.9 mmol/L. I have ketones in the urine, elevated cholesterol and triglycerides, hba1c 6.2% (4.5-7.0), c-peptide 1.18ng/mL (1.10-4.40), chronic candida in the intestines. My thyroid hormones are fine. By randomly measuring sugar, I have never measured a value outside the limits. I was given therapy with 500mg of metformin, which did not make me feel any better, I still have a lot of weight loss and candida in my intestines. The doctors were not interested in doing more detailed analyzes on me. I want to do detailed analyzes related to diabetes to see if the cause is type 2, 1 or LADA. I need help with which parameters from the blood and urine I should do.
Here are some parameters that the local lab does:
HbA1c
INSULIN
C – PEPTIDE
INSULIN RESISTANCE – HOMA
INSULIN At*
Anti IA-2 At (TYROSINE PHOSPHATE)
Anti ICA At*
GAD-ANTIBODIES*
GLUCAGON*
Also, what else related to the blood count, vitamin levels in the blood, urine parameters should I do?
With these results, I plan to see an endocrinologist to give me insulin so that I can regain my body weight and eliminate chronic candida in the intestines.
