Hi all
I'm not an alcohol just confused! But I do like my red wine and G&Ts at the weekend. I know white wine has a carb count, as do port and liquers, but I can't find out about red wine - if dry cider has carbs do other dry alcoholic drinks?? :?:
Also I am finding my first am readings have not dropped much from the night before 2 hour post dinner readings, as these are about 8.5 pm and 8.2 am I am not concerned but curious as to why when day time readings drop before the next meal why does this not occur over night? - This has nothing to do with alcohol or the venings carb count (honest)!
Also I know what can occur if the readings are low (I've had the dizzy, unable to think or focus moments at 4.4) but what happens if your readings are too high - any symptoms to look out for? all the literature seams to focus on hypos not hyperglycaemia.
Thanks
