ally1,s BS levels

2 different things Ally :) One indicates control in non DB range but that does not alter the underlying condition. Least that's what I assumed :) I expect someone will correct me if I'm wrong

Whether type 2 is reversible is a controversial topic, and as far as I can see, still undecided. My theory is the same as @Mike D We can keep tight control of our levels and keep them at non-diabetic levels, but we still have to control our eating to keep them there. If we relax too much and start eating too many carbs, our levels will shoot up again and we will be back where we started. One or two people on this forum have kept tight control with very low HbA1c results over a period of time and been taken off the diabetic register, but their HbA1c's have been consistently low without medication.

Thanks BT :) Trust you had a great birthday :)

i am pleased, but how can i be non diabetic, as i thought once a diabetic, always one
That is to say that if you kept your BS down to ND range, as soon as you returned to eating the wrong food / drinks, back you'd go up again.

No release from this until we find (demand some might say) a cure

lunch 5.8 after 8.7
i visited a friend and ate lunch there and ate 2 rolls

Just proves that there is always diabetes levels lurking even with a bread roll. Tight control is the only thing that wards off the diabetic reactions!

You have to live your life ally and overall you are doing fabulously well.... There are always going to be times when you end up eating something you shouldn't so I wouldn't worry about it :)

Sorry ally I meant your result was close to non diabetic. You are still diabetic, but our target is non diabetic results through diet:)

That is very high. I see you are not on medication for diabetes. What do you eat on a typical day?

my bs this morning was 16.3

You quoted Allys from November. Allly has made huge improvements since the quote that you quoted.

Your levels however are very high.. Perhaps you ought to consider a post of your own to tell us something about you.

@ally1 - It really seems to be coming together for you. When do you get your most recent HbA1c results? I so, so, so hope it shows the result you deserve.
