Hi,
I've been given a choice of Animas Vibe or Medtronic 640G, as a replacement for the Accu-chek spirit combo I've used for the last four years.

Any pros/cons would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Hi, Mike, sorry to go a bit off thread, but why do you want to change? I am thinking of changing to the Accuchek spirit combo, having used both the older model Animas and Medtronic (veo) , but, sorry, not the models you are asking about. What is it you do not like about the Spirit? Thanks, ann34+

One advantage of Medtronic is that you will be able to use the new BD Flowsmart infusion set, although if it has a luer lock so will Vibe users. Animas are meant to be launching a new pump this year. Have you checked if you would be able to have this when it becomes available?

Can you trial each pump?
