I've never tried any supplements.I am looking for some guidance on which anti-inflammatory supplements i can use as a T2D. I know that Glucosamine can interact with some diabetic medication. Is it the same for Chondroitin too?
I am currently suffering with Achilles Tendonitis and also have knee joint pain, so I am looking for some supplements to help with these conditions.
My current diabetes medication is Humulin 70/30, Metformin and Dapagliflozin.
Has anybody used a Turmeric and Black Pepper supplement, with any success.
Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you @KennyA. I will have a chat with my local pharmacist for their advice. I am currently taking standard Ibuprofen for the pain. As I take so much medication, I am looking for a natural supplement to help with the inflammation.I've never tried any supplements.
I take and have taken naproxen (either as prescribed or as Aleve) as an anti-inflammatory to cope with pain from both achilles tendonitis and knee (plus a few other sources) and it works really fine for me. I'm not on any diabetes medication so can't comment on interactions, but I would have thought that your pharmacist is probably the best source of advice about that anyway.
I use Ibruprofen gel and physical therapies such as stretching and massage.I am currently suffering with Achilles Tendonitis and also have knee joint pain, so I am looking for some supplements to help with these conditions.
