Yep.. Pain can dramatically alter insulin needs.
I have recently got rid of pain and my consultant says this is the readin why my insulin usage has dropped so dramatically... But mine is basal as pain was permanent with me...having got rid of 24hr pain has so dramatically reduced my insulin its unbelievable to me...
