Hi
Has anyone got a Nutribullet?
My other half has just ordered me one.
I'm on a pump & he thought it would be a good thing to get me. Watched a bit of advert on it & looks pretty good

Hi Jessd

It seems to be some kind of liquidiser. Not sure I would want all my fruit etc in liquid form.

Regards

It's meant to break down good so you get all the goodness. You can make all kinds of drinks & stuff, meant to be really healthy. You can do soups too

The problem I have with these kind of "wonder" devices is that not everyone should be eating huge amounts of raw vegetables - for example, if you have thyroid, some raw vegetables (like brassicas) can be goitrogenic, high oxalate content veg can cause kidney stones, high fruit can impact BG and so on. Of course the ads will only tell us about success stories, not the other side. At least they retain the fibre which the older style juicers didn't - but again, not everybody tolerates huge fibre intake.

Hi. I would keep the juicing down a bit. In general I understand it's better to let the body handle raw fibre, but I'm sure some level of juicing will release nutrients. A balance makes sense and sadly the current fad for everything to be juiced can't be good.
