Just coming to vent my frustrations, had a bad hypo this morning of 1.9mmol. My insulin pump caught the fact I was going low and did alert me but with me being asleep at the time it took me about 5 minutes to get out of bed, finger checked as I felt awful and the reading came back at 1.9 and I definitely felt it. Had my hypo treatment and I’m now at work but I still feel absolutely awful like my brain is working at half the speed as usual, I also still feel very shaky. Blood sugar has definitely come back up I’m hoping these symptoms go away soon!!

Really sorry to hear this. It just goes to show that even with some of the best equipment and control we can still come unstuck.
Hope you’re soon back on track.

Great to have somewhere to 'vent', Nicola, and hope you are feeling more human now it's been a few hours

That was me yesterday morning - was hypo from around 3am to 5am, alarm had been going on both phone and pump but I didn't hear it till around 5am as was in a deep sleep, finally woke and was shaking and sweating profusely but managed to swallow 3 glucotabs, fell straight back to sleep and then another low alarm at 6am, felt like I hadn't slept yesterday.. It was odd as I haven't had a night time hypo in over a year, Tandem normally resolves the low, just go easy today and try not to do anything too taxing, take care x
