At the moment... artex ceilings. Also the concrete patio.
I am grumps and just fancied writing it all down!

Tested before bed, 2.2. Felt absolutely fine. Got it up to 7.2 then went to sleep. Wake up (6am) it's 11.2.
Before breakfast (8:30am) it's 18.6 ***?!
Scrambled eggs, greek yoghurt, coffee, same breakfast as every day, take the appropriate dose and then additional dose to correct the high.
1 hour later, 13.2 .... hm .... 2 hours later, 6.7 .... and falling. And I have to go to the gym at 1pm.
Mind boggles. Plus, I am REALLY hungry which is odd as breakfast usually gets me through to at least lunch!

Ah I know how you feel..

Yesterday I was desperate to get out on the bike as the sun was out and after 2 hypos with the second one being at 2.2 I ended up in bed instead as was so drained, was gutted as was really looking forward to it..

Just keep testing and if you're still falling have a nice carby snack - hope you make it to the gym ;)

mine was a bit like that over the weekend. Surprise surprise this morning I've got a stinking cold. For me, erratic BS results either means I'm about to start my period (sorry if TMI) or I'm about to get a cold. The first is relatively predictable but colds are quite rare for me and its a pain in the backside. It was high all weekend even with corrections, but this morning even though I'm feeling terrible my pre breakfast was 5.6 and was 6.8 15 mins ago. I don't understand it. I tend to just go with it, but do contact your DSN if it continues for more than a day or so without a 'cause' appearing.

Hope it's not my period... we've been TTC for 6 months now! I think it's just one of those days but for sure will seek professional advice if necessary! I see my consultant next week and would love to come away with an HbA1c under 6.

thanks @Juicyj - sorry to hear you missed the sunshine. This week is supposed to be beautiful though so there's sure to be another opportunity.

Hope your day improves @Postitnote

Just a comment on your 1 & 2 hour bg levels, QA insuln takes around 2 hours to peak so it's not surprising to see the difference in the two readings.
