Hi
What are the best books to buy to learn more about the physiology of diabetes and best diets for type 1 diabetics living in the UK.
I am using a pump at the moment and I suddenly feel a bit clueless as to why I am seeing a rise in my readings that are normally fine with the food I eat. Especially the morning ones (nothing above 9). Do change basal? It's currently set to 0.1 and my ratio is 1:15carbs, sometimes 1:20 if I am due a big workout.
Also, I can feel the insulin stinging when it goes in and I couldn't feel that before a couple of days ago. Any ideas why??
Thanks for your help.
