Best movie ever?

A bit off track and certainly not classic, or Hollywood, no Oscars BUT

I can watch certain 'Carry On' films over and over and still find them funny:D

I don't have a "favourite film" but a top 20 in my mind and heart. Generally thriller/action movies do it for me like The Bourne Identity etc.

Good luck, I just found 12 Angry men without even looking, also found Of Human Bondage, with Bette Davis playing a cockney waitress, a great film about obsession.
Must get Genevieve on DVD :) :joyful:
12 Angry Men - still fantastic and very watchable today. Henry Fonda and all the other jurors play their parts to Oscar standard. Brilliant detective style screenplay too.

My movie choices are always considered ummm odd, for instance, I howled with laughter at Robin Williams performance in 'The Birdcage' and I laughed even more at the latest movie I watched, kind of a cross between Kill Bill, James Bond and the old Avengers tv series all combined with a bit of Pomp and Circumstance and lots of colours.... I am talking about 'Kingsman - The secret service'.. Brilliant

Amazing Mr Blundell, it's a wonderful life, railway children.
Any Alien film, 28 days later, World War Z,
Any Margaret Rutherford Miss Marple. Zulu, the Eagle has Landed.
Any Sherlock Holmes with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce.
Gonna think some more. I'm not an intellectual can you tell?

Stand By Me
Shawshank Remeption
