BG @ 26.5 and Ketones

I have been put on steroids for my chest on Monday (29/5/17). My finger prick is currently at 26.5 and rising. I have tested for ketones and got a reading of +. I can't see my doctor or nurse about it because they're both not in until next week. My vision keeps going blurry, i keep going dizzy and my heart rate is going wild.

Any advice on how to lower my levels?

Hi is it not possible you could see another doctor I think it would be wise especially with blurred vision let us know?

I would get to A&E if I was you - those are very high levels and the blurry vision and heart rate would concern me too. Hope your feeling better soon

No one else. No other doctor deals with diabetes
