It’s almost impossible for a T2 diet only to get a meter & strips on prescription. My first meter was an accuchek but I was given that in hospital as a mis diagnosed T1, when I was re diagnosed as T2 no longer on insulin but on max Gliclizide I had to really fight my case to keep my subscription for strips. They allowed me 50 every 3 months & said I was lucky to get those, I could have had 50 a month if I drove! So I started self funding then & definitely wouldn’t get them now as T2 diet onlyWill your Dr/nurse not allow you one on prescription ?
I did not know this, re not using any form of treatment apologiesIt’s almost impossible for a T2 diet only to get a meter & strips on prescription. No need to apologise @Mark Rawlinson - why would you know unless it had happened to youI did not know this, re not using any form of treatment apologies
It worked fine for me I’ve just googled Tee 2 & this was the second hit down after Amazon Uk@CatsFive the meter is actually a Tee2 + the website doesn't recognise Tee 2 with a space - I got very perplexed by that little problem when trying to order some strips.
