I'm a 23 year old type 1 diabetic. Usually good control hba1c of 56. I do get down sometimes about my diabetes when my control isn't good and recently I've been really making an effort with my sugar's. Looking to getting a funded libra and pump in the future.
Obviously birth control is very important for me and I wanted to ask if anyone has experience with Nuva Ring?
I've had the copper IUD for three years but recently I've found its causing me pelvic pain and cramps, also I'm increasingly anxious about it perforating my uterus, maybe slightly OTT. I'm aware oestrogen causes blood glucose to change, but the nuva ring has lower levels of hormones than the combined pill. I've already tried POP and the implant and I'd never go on them again.
