I do not have diabetes
Among other things
Wheat Flour
Oatmeal,
Pearl Barley,
Onion ,
White Peppers,
Yeast Extract,
and off course the blood itself, which as we know can be awash in glucose.

I cannot see the problem if the portion size and the intolerance to that amount of carb can be offset by other properties of the black pudding!
You only provide us with the baddies, what about the good things?
The only way you would know is by testing and experimentation.

The black pudding I generally eat is about 10gms of carbs, which because of the saturated fat slows down the rise in blood glucose levels and my intolerance is usually good.
I feared that since diagnosis and before because of the so called healthy advice given by dieticians and doctors, that I could never eat black pudding again!
Now, it is being classed as a super food because of the really good basic minerals and vitamins that are in it such as iron!

Anyhow, how can something so natural and tasty be bad for you?

By the way I love black pudding, have I mentioned that before?

I sometimes have a slice on its own for a mid meal small snack!
