You need to eat @Bassiette On mixed insulin it's important to have regular meal times and keep the amount of carbohydrate in each meal the same. A routine will help a lot.

Can I ask if you're overweight? Is that why you're not eating or are you worried about your blood sugar going too high?

No i have ideal weight but rising blood sugar i never experienced this problem before should i incraese my insulin units

Hi. I can't explain the sudden rise in blood sugar but if the Basal/Bolus insulin regime is available to you it will provide much better control with carb-counting.

How suddenly has this problem happened? Sudden high sugars could be due to stress or illness or insulin that has lost its effectiveness.

The first thing I'd do is change to a new bottle/vial of insulin. See if that helps. Sometimes insulin can 'go off' and lose its power.

It's important to,eat regularly to balance your insulin. On mixed insulin, you should find you need to,eat lunch because your blood sugar is starting to drop. That's what I found.

Eating regularly and testing your blood sugar regularly will really help. If you get into a routine, it's so much easier physically and mentally.

I have found, following advice from here, that regular meals (3 per day) and no food between 7pm and 8am. regular testing, not too frequently, will help you to balance your day and help your body mechanism to stablise. This way you can identify problems more easily. Then adjust accordingly.

I think i may be have ketoacidosis as i used new vial but same symptoms still persists

If you're concerned about DKA you should see a doctor urgently or visit a hospital.

Take care and let us know how you are.
