I use double cream in my coffee... creamier and marginally lower carb than single.HI bulbiker, I assume coffee with cream stops BG from rising. Is that correct and can it be single cream. Sorry for all the questions but on waking I don't always want to eat something and if I don't my BS rises until I do.
Thanks
There is a low carb loaf available from Waitrose, LivLife Seriously Seeded, 3.8g carbs per slice, I have tried it toasted with peanut butter, it’s not bad, nothing like fresh bread which is something that I do miss, but this seems ok for me, might be worth a try. Other people here mention the Lidl high protein rolls, I have tried these too but again prefer these toasted so will stick with the bread as it’s lower in both carbs and calories.Could people tell me what the use as a bread substitute? Or what they have for breakfast? I cannot tolerate porridge for some reason so have been having toast every morning because, annoyingly, you cannot find a breakfast cereal that's not packed with sugar.
Plain Cheerios with banana.Could people tell me what the use as a bread substitute? Or what they have for breakfast? I cannot tolerate porridge for some reason so have been having toast every morning because, annoyingly, you cannot find a breakfast cereal that's not packed with sugar.
Every breakfast cereal I have looked at has loads of sugar. I thought Special K must surely be okay but it actually has more sugar than normal cornflakes.Cheerios. Corn Flakes. Organic cereals. Yogurt. Cottage cheese. Berries.
The power of advertising is impressive.... you hear/see something often enough, the message will get through... very difficult to fight.Every breakfast cereal I have looked at has loads of sugar. I thought Special K must surely be okay but it actually has more sugar than normal cornflakes.
