weetabix sends them down? *rubbing eyes* im soooo jealous i always loved weetabix :(

dont be jealous??? you can eat weetabix AND dance like that, sheeeesh some people get it all

I was worried about breakfast when I went on holiday as the hotel breakfasts were going to be very different from my controlled porridge breakfast at home.

How wrong I was. First hotel had tomato juice as an alternative to the usual sugary orange juice. Muesli came in a number of varieties including a 'wholegrain' variety which I could have with some sliced banana and lactose free milk. Loads of wholegrain rye breads with sliced sausages, hams and cheeses and boiled, fried or scrambled eggs, bacon, grilled sausages and beans. I'd start the morning at something like 5.5 and by lunchtime I'd be down at 5.1, helped no doubt by a lot of walking.

Breakfast really does set you up for the rest of the day.

Protein for breakfast! Eggs, any way you want. Fish or chicken. Whatever works for you.

Would love an egg for breakfast but never enough time cereal is quick and before you say get up earlier I think 5.45 is early enough lol
Couldn't eat fish or chicken for breakfast that's dinner or tea :-)

I usually buy 12 eggs and boil them (or a portion of them) then I store the boiled eggs in the original container. It's a sure fire way to never run out of a quick snack or part of an easy meal. Eggs are just amazing. Life savers!!! A slice of peanut butter on toast and an unripened banana is a good alternative. It might seem weird eating meat for breakfast but if you eat meat you should try it! Cold cuts in the morning are amazing!!!

Peanut butter is just amazing. Interestingly enough Sainsburys own has the lowest sugar content...it's only 62pence and it's a perfect alternative to anything 'naughty'. Sometimes I just eat a spoon of peanut butter and I'm full and my craving is dead. :-)

I was told about it from a friend who was fanatically into fitness. Thought it was too good to be true at first but when I compared all of the nutritional information of different brands of peanut butter I was pleasantly surprised. Thank god I love the taste of it!!!

I normally have a bowl of cereal either Alpen, Weetabix or a small packet of the Nesquik cereals as a treat.. Which I find does not spike me at all... Happy days :) also if I'm not at work I will make myself an omelette with a little cheese in or fruit pancakes :) I tend to have the omelette as a brunch with a little salad on the side.. Depends how busy I am :)

I've loved reading this post as it shows how different we all are :)

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the lovely weather :)

Kerry xx
