I just popped back and found it reduced to 99pence per 125 gram pack. I bought 5 packs! ( every lidyl helps )

125g pack, normal butter (here in UK) is 250g pack, so it is more expensive gram for gram. But as treats we can have are so few and far between, I'd try it too.

I have used butter made from buffalo milk in Italy and found it very creamy (this is a good thing, in my opinion). Buffalo mozzarella comes from the same source.

They're not bad at all for those of us with a hearty appetite.

I'll definitely buy buffalo butter if I ever see it in my Dutch Lidl, I'm quite curious how the taste differs from the butter I usually buy.

More like goats milk butter than regular cows - I guess it’s to do with the diet as well as the animal

I've never had goat butter either, will try if I see it anywhere.

I did wonder if it is more about the animals’ diet than the breed. Perhaps it is a combination? I do prefer butter made from the milk of grass fed cattle. Will seek out the buffalo butter. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, @OrsonKartt
