Type of diabetes
Treatment type
Insulin
Those drugs referred to in the article as one of the treatments for T2
diabetes will not suit everyone and should be treated with caution and
only after careful consideration of the pros and cons. . There are
known and well documented side effects...........

diarrhoea
nausea
vomiting
headaches
dizziness
increased sweating
indigestion
constipation
loss of appetite

In the UK I use long and short acting insulin as well as tablets to
obtain 'reasonable' control and have been refused Byetta/Victoza because
of a) my weight and b) my existing 'reasonable' control. Diet and
exercise as illustrated so well by Bonny is the sure fire way to keep T2
in check in order to maintain a good quality of life.

With best regards. Barry
