You need to discuss this with your diabetes team of course.Hi I got my c-peptide results from DN
C-peptide-1324
What do you guys think?
Hi was it a fasting c-peptide? Either way, it supports you're type 2.

Is it for MODY? Here's some worthwhile reading. In MODY, whilst there is a reduction in beta-cell function, which your c-peptide doesn't support.I have appointment with the consultant soon, the other test results are yet to come back, they're the genetic testing results.

You should always quote the units given (as different places use different units).Hi I got my c-peptide results from DN

A good point as everyone uses different units for C-Peptide.You should always quote the units given (as different places use different units).
I will need to ask - the consultant next week when he rings me since I have already spoken to the DN today. You should always quote the units given (as different places use different units).
My blood sugar Reading is 14mmol/ the urine strips is still the same colour I have to tell you I haven’t had anything carby today, I have had chicken and mixed it in a bowl of vegetable (cucumbers and lettuce) I shall see my results 2 hours after my mealThey are not as accurate as strips for a meter. Let us know what your next reading is.
The units have to be pmol/L by the magnitude of the numberI will need to ask - the consultant next week when he rings me since I have already spoken to the DN today.
The next step will be to ask to be referred to an endocrinologist. High insulin, high blood sugars and with your age, ask your GP if it warrants further investigation.I believe so, will find out next week, I have cut down on carbohydrates and yet my blood sugars have been up, today woke up at 19mmol, and 2h after meal, 20.9mmol, I'm not sure what else could be wrong, I have had everything checked but I guess I will see what the consultant says.

I really hope they get to the bottom of what's happening. It's frustrating in the meantime.
