Hello

I need to stop coffee and I wonder if there is any alternative that:
- has rich coffee-like taste with no carbs
- is coffee but has very very low caffeine if not zero

I am looking to buy in the UK so unfortunately any products outside won't help :(

Thanks!

The term "big boned" lol repeatedly told this growing up!
Sainsburys decaff is nice paired with unsweetened almond milk and cream

Decaf coffee is widely available in instant - I like Kenco best, ground coffee I like Starbucks, I also buy decaf pods from the fine coffee Co for my pod machine (sorry can’t remember it’s name and I’m too lazy to get up and go and see lol) one thing I’ve noticed when out buying coffee in cafes etc the decaf can be a bit weak so I ask for it made stronger and some places charge more for a decaf than ordinary coffee (hubby who is in the know says it is more expensive to buy in) - a cafe near me charges 20p more fore a regular and 50p more for a large! If I end up there I have earl grey tea.

Spicy food which is too hot. Nasty people who have no idea on your life journey but feel the need to comment and be cruel.
I have Kenko decaff (man on the bike) Americano. Made with cream.
Coffee shop opposite makes it with Unsweetend almond milk for me.

I’ve a bean to cup machine and source Swiss water decaf beans from rave coffee in uk. I love my coffee but caffeine doesn’t like me. Their bigger bags last me weeks and I usually buy 3 bags at a time to avoid p and p. Not cheap but nice!!

First Q is why?
If anything like me the good strong coffee acts as a diruetic, and that can mean far too many loo breaks. Inconvenient when out and about.
I find Lors decaff an acceptable alternative to instant coffee.

I gave up real coffee years ago when I learned it could be a possible migraine trigger, though I never actually discovered whether it was or not for me! I drank various Nescafe decaf blends instead, until I discovered and took a fancy to Little's Rich Hazelnut Decaf Instant Coffee (available from Amazon UK and I think some supermarkets), and it's ended up my go-to coffee with unsweetened hazelnut "milk". Probably not what you're actually looking for though....

I went to decaf as I was having heart palpitations GP and consultant I saw ruled out any heart problems- put it down to stress, anxiety and unavoidable lack of sleep so I decided to cut caffeine and it’s definitely helped, occasionally I have had a full caffeine coffee and I can really feel I’ve had it.

No necessarily.
The reason may be personal and not something the OP wants to share.
In which case they don’t have to. But knowing the reason might help tailor a reply.
First Q is why?
Given the OPs other posts I’d suspect the high histamine content which isn’t helpful for those with Long Covid/chronic fatigue

The name alone sounds sorely tempting

Thanks, to be honest, I don't have a well established reason, I am just desperate to get relief from palpitations, poor sleep, fatigue, dysautonomia and all that hell that broke loose.

I do drink alot of coffee and I like it but I need to try everything I can, especially something so harmless as cutting coffee.

Ideally I would like very strong 'coffee' taste but with no caffeine or a totally different drink if other stuff in coffee make me worse.

I tried some instant decaf but they were too acidic. I don't expect anyone to do research for me (I am doing myself alot) but if you have found the lowest acidic instant decaf in the UK, please share!

I mostly find detailed comparisons/tests for USA products only.

Why instant coffee and not brewed fresh from ground coffee?
I don't taste the difference between no caffeine ground coffee and regular.
