Hi All this is Baldtyke
I will be showing up as Scottydog as I am using my partner Andrenes PC and login just thought I would clear that up.
I have been low carbing now for three weeks and am due to have my HBA1c done on tueday. As I have previously posted and my sugars were up in the 20's and completely out of control and my prospects were looking very grim. However since loing the forum and getting the low carb advice my sugars have fallen dramaticlly and now sit in the 4-7 range pre food and only slightly above 8-8.5 after food, I have even hit several 5.5 to 5.9 scores so the low carbing is defeinatly working and I know it will be a job for life I am feeling all of the benefits already. So from an individual angle low carbing works for me.
Right, here is my question and this will now highlight my mega **** maths skills. I am ok on the simple carb calcs but when for argument sake you get a note on a packet that says per 100g there are 74.5g of carb but the actual pack size is 23.1 g what would the actual carbs be.
I am rubbish at maths lol and I keep seeing this type of calc and my brain wants to explode trying to work it out, is there a simple formula for small brained folk to make life easier lol
Any help would be magic.
Also my tummy is shrinking woweee my weight is coming down very very slowly but I am putting that down to my excercise which will be turning some of me into muscle.
More alert, more switched on, more active so all good stuff.
Cheers for the help guys
Tony
