Hi. Weight gain when T1 on insulin can be caused by eating too many carbs. Are you keeping the carbs under control?I was just wondering because I'm fatter than what I was

Yes iam I don't eat a lot of potatoes any moreHi. Weight gain when T1 on insulin can be caused by eating too many carbs. Are you keeping the carbs under control?
@kokhongw - I dont' think posting this article is particularly fair or helpful. As it itself says, while there are mechanisms for restoring beta cell mass (of which the technique described is one, and there are a number of others), it doesn't stop the autoimmune issues that cause beta cells to be attacked and destroyed, which is fundamental to reversing type 1. As a result, this isn't really an article about reversing T1, and the headline is a little too much attention grabbing. The status remains the same as it always has. This discussion may be interesting for some.
