Got my latest HbA1c result today and it’s gone down again to 31.

This is my third consecutive result in the 30s, so hoping it’s confirmation that I can sustain this for the long term.

Checking in on here has certainly helped with both the knowledge of how to manage this condition and motivation to keep going.

So pleased for you. Its so good to get that news. You should be proud.
I assume you were pleased with last nights result in Milan? Have just picked my son up from the airport whose lost his voice. I live in a house of Gooners though I dont participate. Lately have just been supplying the shoulder to cry on!! OMG so hope I havent got this wrong!

A well deserved and hard worked for result @Goonergal - inspirational to all of us. Pleased you posted your success it’s important to get the word out there that it can be done and improvements can continue over time if you stick at it. I’ve now got a target to aim for in May!!

Thanks and not wrong at all! Very pleased - and surprised - by last night’s result.

Wonderful results, @Goonergal, and absolutely well deserved for putting in all the hard work. Congrats. I am very happy for you.

Agree with @Goonergal you are missed on the what did you eat thread you’re one of the only people like me who seems to partake of alcohol! I feel a bit naughty every time I declare it!

Fantastic results Goonergal you inspire so many of us

Fab numbers again, well done.

I second everything that’s been said here, you are inspirational. X

Amazing result - you've obviously got this nailed, very inspiring!

Superb everything is just wow on the other measures other than HbA1c, you sure are determined. 40% weight loss, do you have stats on your visceral fat.

Amazing work well done you !

Thanks @Mbaker I’m totally in awe of your regime!

Unfortunately, no I don’t have those stats and not sure how to get them = have seen tips about taking body measurements and then lying down to track visceral fat but that doesn’t seem very precise. Do you have any tips?

My scales do measure overall body fat percentage. To my regret I only started using that function recently. Levels are coming down but would love to know where I started!

Very well done! Inspirational!

Fantastic result....a testimony to your hard work....Well done!
