After 2 years with type 1 I started to find the complexity of our desease and its treatment quiet intersting.
I'd like to learn the different chemical formulas/symbols of the compounds I/we use(d) as insulin.
So far I gathered the formula of my current medicines:
Apidra Solostar: C258-H384-N64-O78-S6
Lantus Solostar: C267-H404-N72-O78-S6
Correct me if I'm wrong, my sources are not so trustworthy!
In addition I'd like to know the formulas of those I used in the first year: Insuman Rapid and Insulin Basal. Since these are made on the sample of the natural insulin it's might be hard to define (or even impossible) -forgive my ignorance, I've never learned chemistry on such a high level.
