Not really noodles, no... But anything egg based, or meat/chicken/pork.... If you ask them to leave out any sweet & sour sauce, (most sauces have loads of sugar in, so avoiding those'd be a plan) that should help. Try to avoid stuff that's coated in batter.Hello! I’m seeing a friend tonight and she wants Chinese. It’s her birthday so I don’t want to say no. What would be ok to order? Are there any noodles that are better to order? Thank you!
I find that egg foo yung don't rise my bg but unsurprisingly my favourite sweet and sour chicken with noodles sends then into obit :-(Hello! I’m seeing a friend tonight and she wants Chinese. Hi Steph one meal isn't going to kill you, eat what ever you want. What would be ok to order?
A “normal balanced diet” as advised by the government is a very bad idea for most type 2. A personal take indeed on whether a spike such as you advocate is worth it or not, as is what once in a while means.Just go and enjoy it it as part of a normal balanced diet, and don't feel you have to skimp on sauces etc. if you would rather have them. We all react differently, and yes it may push up your blood sugars to those beyond someone who does not suffer with Diabetes - but once in a while we all have to enjoy life! i say "go for it...."
How did it go? Did you have a good time?Hello! I’m seeing a friend tonight and she wants Chinese. It’s her birthday so I don’t want to say no. What would be ok to order? Are there any noodles that are better to order? Thank you!
Sounds like a good time/meal was had. Yay!Thanks all for your helpful comments! We needed up having curry!! I had chicken tikka with no sauce, a small bit of rice and a little bit of sag aloo. Very nice. I hadn’t thought of having duck so next time I have Chinese I will go for that.
