Now I have just watched this video. Some of which this man says I sometimes take with a pinch of salt but........ There are some people on here do not seem to worry about their Cholesterol going up, as it has been said that it is not big deal. According to this fella by what he is saying. He explains the fats etc and says that we cannot burn Cholesterol and that it can go high on the Keto diet, but as long as our liver is fine and we eat plenty of vegetables we will be fine. I have also listened to other professionals say even with a healthy liver you have to eat a lot of vegs so as not to affect the Liver when on Keto. So what is he saying? If some people do not eat plenty of vegs and their liver is compromised they should not do Keto? Like I said I have also heard and read that even with a good liver if you do not eat plenty of veg it can cause problems. Now the question is..If having high cholesterol is not important why is Dr Berg producing this video? He did say that the Cholesterol evens out after a time, what if it doesn't? This seems contradictory as I thought that fats did us no harm

Im a great believer that theres no such thing as a free ride and that anything eaten to excess has the potential to harm us, although I also think there are individual differences in where the cut off between moderate and excess needs to be drawn with each nutrient

He is not an endocrinologist but is a member of their society. His training is not medical per se, and he has no nutrition diploma or certificate, He is a chiropractor, pure and simple, who has formed a wellness clinic empire on the side. I would treat his 'knowledge' as being an interpretation, but not necessarily backed up by science,

He is a Vlogger and book writer , but he does not seem to acknowledge any recognisable science as backup to his pronunciations. The recent findings on cholesterol that were published last year were fully peer reviewed and independent so carry greater weight behind their findings, in my opinion.

I agree with this point of view which is why I do not slaver everything to an obvious viewpoint in fats. I do believe it is carbs which cause the plaque build up on arteries (not good saturated fat). I could not stomach eating pure fat, the closest I can get is cheese.

I think if someone is worried about cholesterol, walking if possible is a safe reductive method for triglycerides. I do have an excess of nuts for my fats and vegetables often take up half a plate.
