Get your ironing board out to wrap your presents on, as it's at a good height (presents and gift wrap/sellotape, ribbon, gift cards, pen should be within easy reach) it should stop getting a sore/achy back

Use disposable table ware, wrap oven trays in tin foil, no washing up. ( I do use proper knifes and forks and glasses, but they take no time to wash)
If you have young children, they are usually very excited and may not eat breakfast, wrap breakfast bars in Christmas paper and tag from Santa, They are more likely to eat it.

In my long experience of kids and Christmas, don't expect kids to eat a dinner, as they are more than likely to be munching on the sweets!

Peel veggies on xmas eve to save time on the day

Set the dinner table xmas eve and cover to keep dust off

If, when you get the decorations out some of them have lost their shine, smear a little glue here and there and roll in glitter, really perks them up for another year

Use brown paper to wrap gifts .. Can be cheaper and not tear ... Tie with string .. More Victorian ..
For adults a little gift of a tea light as a bit of fun can be used to stick on the parcel .. Or any thing that is nice , very cheap crackers can also look nice on the wrapping paper X

Use a box of sticky post labels .. And write with a pretty coloured pen ..

A wicker basket to put gifts in ..or a cardboard box decorated .. Instead of a stocking or a pillowcase ..
But I like the idea of return of the pillow case !!! ;)

Make a lucky gift Santa dip .. Wrap something up for yourself of course .. Just for a bit of fun .. Maybe Christmas Eve ..

Can the Robin please come back :chicken::clown::cat:

Aaaww, what's wrong with a festive Only fools and horses, I thought everyone would like it ?##Edited, now a new Chrismassy Robinredbreast , Kat should be happier now :)

Don't buy crackers .. They can be a waste of money ..
Give everyone a table gift instead .. Lots to be found for a £1 and under ..
Soaps
Shower gels
Diary
Sweet treats ..
The list is endless ..
Second hand paper backs often for 50p can make nice gifts

Old glass jars .. Fill with sweets .. Put a bow on ..a homemade gift ..

Don't buy your pet a Christmas present!

Ps. they don't know it's Christmas!!!!!!!!

Spend what you would have on the kids and grandkids.
Your pets would prefer the turkey anyway !
