None of the above!

I drink cold drinks, with the occasional hot choc.

Red bush in the morning, decaf coffee the rest of the time.

Mostly herbals like nettle, peppermint, white tea etc - but I do love a good cup of coffee so do have one occasionally :)

I LOVE TEA and I can't wait for my last cup of the day :D
and the first cup of the morning and then another and then lunch :D :D
RRB :)

Coffee in the morning, green tea for the rest of the day, black tea when visiting people who don't have green tea.

Oh, and beer. :D

Cheers

I enjoy a cup of coffee now and then but I do find that as soon as I drink it, I can feel my brain starting to shrivel up like a walnut. I know that sounds dramatic but I really feel coffee doing something to my brain almost immediately and I get the same effect when I drink alcohol.

When I became diabetic I stopped drinking milk. I'd more or less stopped drinking it prior to diagnosis as I found I wasn't finishing my cups of tea and I no longer liked the taste and didn't feel refreshed by it. Lo and behold I discovered from this website that milk is high in carbs and cream is a lot lower. I didn't fancy tea with cream at all so I took to drinking coffee with cream for my hot drinks but didn't enjoy it or the dehydration it causes me. Eventually I tried tea with cream and was ready to screw my nose up at it's taste and texture but wow! I love it and ask myself where has tea with cream been all my life? Why did I EVER entertain semi skimmed milk and even skimmed milk at times? My mouth hated it, my stomach hated and eventually my whole body hated it and 'forgot' to drink it.

Now I really look forward to my morning cuppa with single cream, I find it thoroughly refreshing and sometimes I have another one straight afterwards. I drink about 3-4 cups a day, morning and evening. During working hours I drink fruit teas or plain water.

Is there any green tea that actually taste nice and doesn't leave your mouth feel like you've been sucking lemons?

I really don't like some of the cheaper makes of green tea you find in supermarkets, the brand I use is called Double Dragon and can be purchased from Holland & Barrett, it's not cheap at £1.89 for a box of 20 but sometimes you have to pay for quality.

hmmmm cream huh, why didnt i think of that? i was tottally addicted to tea, i drank like 10 cups a day then i discovered the carbs in it and moved over to flavoured green tea which apart from water is all i drink now and love it but, i am going to get some single cream and try it today, thanks for putting it in my brain :)
