Part of RICE is Compression, and the general advice seems to be that it is useful during recovery after an injury, but I do wonder if this should just be avoided completely as a diabetic.

I'm in the low risk category for foot problems, but can imagine compression might have implications for circulation.

Thoughts?

The compression part of RICE is just to help promote clotting and to stem blood flow. It is short term and is for first aid purposes really. I very much doubt this needs to be avoided. Any possible complication is certainly not as bad as an uncontrolled bleed.

Short term RICE is fine, would only use it for 24-48 hours anyway, diabetic or not.

Avoid anti-inflamatories, disturb teh bodies own mechanisms.

Though you were going to ask about compression clothing for amoment then
