Hi I'm a type 1, have been for 36 years. Recently I have decided to lower my carb intake, less than 50g each day. I've done this as I've been struggling with my weight and sugars. Wot I don't understand is that the change in carb intake has not altered my blood results. I've kept to the same dose thinking I would have to lower it but this hasn't happened at all and in fact my test results are still running a little high. I am losing weight though (thank god) so is there a scientific explanation that I don't know about ? Would love some help with this please, thank you
