I've cut right down on carbs, switched to wholwheat bread & pasta and brown rice but a lot less than before.
Hi Steve,
I can only speak from my own experience before cutting out complex carbs like you, I was constantly hunger.
It's like that old joke about eating a Chinese meal and an hour later your hungry.
There's a reason for that carbs, even complex carbs leave you feeling hungry.
When I did ditch the carbs the basics bread, pasta, rice I was shocked the difference it made.
Suddenly I wasn't constantly hungry any more.
It goes against all "common sense" that food makes you hungry but it's true.
IF your willing to give it a go, try a little experiment.
A ham sandwich nobody eats one, so that's 4 slices of bread a bit of lettuce some tomato and 2 slices of ham & some cheese. Ditch the bread and eat the rest and see how long you feel full for. Next day eat the whole sandwich. Alternate like this for a week.
IF at the end of a week you can notice feeling less hungry when you don't eat carbs, it might be time to ditch the carbs.
