CoQ10 supplements

Hi All
Have a friend staying who is currently taking statins (has had various cardiac problems in the past) and is pre diabetic. He's quite interested in supplementing with CoQ10 and was wondering where to buy and how much to take. Anyone got any thoughts on this please?

I take 100mg Transformed CO Enzyme Q10 because they where recommended by Jenny Rhule in her book. Not sure if that is the right dose though. I get mine from Amazon

I get mine from here and take them for the same reason. you can probably get cheaper on amazon but you don't know what's in them, this company has excellent products. I take 200mg daily

CoQ10 needed to be converted back by the body before it's useful, and that's the bit the body doesn't do well as you get older.
