I dislike cruelty to children and animals and all living creatures. Also, I dislike bullies, extreme modern art and architecture, supermarket and shop music that is unmelodic
I have Covid-toe - this is a toe which is very tender, red/purple and black, very painful and I have had for approx 11 months. If one goes on a website regarding this problem it says that it normally lasts anything from a week to a few months and then goes away by itself, and there is no known treatment for this. I have tried various homeopathic remedies but have not found anything that works yet, although undoubtedly there will be one that will work if and when I find it. They say this is more common in children, but I am 74 years of age. I have had two lots of difference creams from the doctor neither of which worked. I have been to the local podiatrist at my hospital but found her totally unhelpful and she did not even know what it was! I am writing this in the hope that someone who has had this has found some relief and if so what they did to achieve this.

How do you know it is covid toe? Have they checked the blood supply to your toe? It may be something else. Is it your whole toe?

I had two lots of antibiotics after swollen legs and feet, not after Covid but after my first jab. I was very worried about one toe in particular, which I think was bitten by a nasty insect we have here in Dorset, the Blandford Fly. I was feeling so ill I wasn't paying attention to very much at all at the time.
When things began to look bad after a few days beyond the last course of antibiotics I used my knowledge of plant based medicines - my father's mother's family were herbalists, midwives and nurses. I sent off for some ginkgo biloba tablets - it is an extract from the maidenhair tree, and a circulation booster. Much to my relief I saw improvement almost at once and in a few days the skin peeled off one toe, the black nail came off the one next to it, and it seemed that things were getting back to normal. So far - even after a second jab, no further problems.
