Many GPs seem to tell us we do not need to test but when you think about it logically how can you know how your body reacts to certain foods unless you test your bloods after eating ?
You can't. The GP's excuse is that you don't need to if you follow their advice. The pharmacist told me, yesterday, that that the local practice is cutting back on those things.
I was surprised to see a plasma monitor in the waiting room informing patients that the practice got charge £78 everytime a patient of theirs went to A&E and therefore that patients should consult the practice first. Sure sign that money is on their minds.
