I had cheese salad for lunch, a handful of walnuts and almonds for a snack this afternoon, and tarragon chicken with leeks and mushrooms on a bed of spring cabbage for dinner.
I've managed to sort out a menu for the next 10 days which should suit me and my husband (he's fussy!), he's not diabetic. I shall be roasting kale and cauliflower tomorrow to nibble on, and will be making tomato and basil soup.
I have just received my glucose meter and will use it before and after lunch tomorrow to see what's what. I'm a bit of a baby when it comes to pricking myself, is there any other place on the body that is more suitable and less painful than the fingers please? Thank you
