Day off Christmas day?

Lawks, I haven't been here for soooooooooooooooo long! Xmas Day for me will be brunch of bacon and eggs (with other stuff for hubby) and dinner will be chateaubriande with vegetables (plus YP and a few roasties for hubby) followed by some cheese and a glass of Malbec. I've had the same for the last 5 years!

Is anyone having a day off Christmas day not to go mad but just a couple of treats would be nice :(
My first Christmas post-diagnosis, having been keto for a while, I consulted on here with the same question, and on the basis of advice I had some Christmas pudding (which I really like). I think my BG went into orbit, I felt so ill. Not for me.

These days I will have a roast potato and parsnip, but still stay well away from anything sweet, ie with sucrose.

It is that. The ill feeling if I step away from the now normal way of eating. It is worse than the very worse hangover, or virus.
Great deterrent to keep me to moderate low carb, and not allow Christmas carb creep.
