I posted on a thread like that yesterday in which the OP posted a link then left without comment. Seemed a bit weird to me.What I find even more irritating is when someone starts a thread, gets loads of great replies, then you never hear from them again ! No feedback, thanks or anything ! As for hijacking, my guess would be it would depend on the topic and whether OP had received answers prior to thread going off topic. If we started a thread every time someone had something slightly off topic it would just get silly.

As for the "hijacked" thread in question, I was literally lolling at Beachbag. They say laughter is the best medicine so thanks for that! Sorry to Kat if there was any offence x
My post you are referring to did not need a tome to accompany it, it was self explanatory and was posted for others to read.
I am not for one minute suggesting that Kat was offended, I was merely putting the thread back on track. Pardon me for having the audacity to do so.
There are no guidelines Andy ! It's an open forum and people will say/post what they wish. If it's deemed inappropriate, that's what the moderators/admin are for.Yes I agree, so to avoid it happening, what are the guidelines? Although way off topic, it had been discussed fully I thought and saw no harm, but if I'm wrong it'd be nice to avoid doing the wrong thing and being accused of hijacking in the future
Sorry this wasn't a reply to you mr bear but to noblehead
Pardon me for having the audacity to do so.
