Hi, I was wondering if anyone had tried crystal healing and what they thought of it. I have recently qualifies as a crystal healer and wondered if many diabetics had had any benifits from it?

Are you serious!

Oh dear, I think that I will carry on howling at the moon and praying to the ancient god zarqua the 12th.

Regretfully Natasha if our charms and Mojo's had worked then none of us would be diabetic now.

When you say qualified, what exactly does that mean if I could be so bold? I just went for advice from my GP who trained for 7 years to be allowed to practice general medicine which involves a lot of referrals to specialist consultant experts - are you now one of those?

I apologise for any offense my flippancy may have caused to those who use crystals and believe in their efficacy. Am feeling very giddy this morning. Maybe because I had a good night's sleep - the first since time out of mind! Good wishes and kind thoughts to one and all. Thundercat out!

I think this belongs on the Marijuana thread. What training does one have to be a crystal healer? Flares, check. Purple tinted round sunglasses, check. Tie dyed t-shirt, check. Sandals, check. Lobotomy, check. Here's your certificate.

Thank you to everyone for your comments. I posted this to see what people thought of this. I wasn't saying crystal therapy would be a magic cure, as crystal therapy is not like that. And for people who asked the course was a year study with case studies and yes of course this is on no way the same level of a gp. It is a holistic treatment ment to be used along side conventional medicine. I asked as I have so many problems and there is no answer out the for me, I am currently allergic to insulin as well as having high anti bodies to it which is why I am now trying an holistic approach but obviously not replacing a crystal for injections as that is stupid. I just wanted to see if anyone had had any benifits.

also I am not trying to convince people to try, or agree that it works, as everyone has their own opinion and this is not a scientific treatment. It is a holistic treatment and is used along side conventional medicine and not used to replace it. I only wondered if anyone had used crystal treatment and if so had they had any benefits, i never said this treatment would help physically or cure anything, as crystal treatment is not a cure or a magic wand. I no that crystal treatment is sometimes used with the nhs but i no this is rare. i searched this myself and on the nhs alternative therapy's they have crystal healers based in london.
