Diabetes and liver problems

I don't think Guzzler is quite correct. The liver can regenerate itself but repairing cirrhosis is a different matter because cirrhosis is effectively scar tissue. This comes from one who had a liver transplant 17 years ago caused by a form of cirrhosis. Don't know about the fatty liver though

I think what Guzzler means is that fatty liver leads to worse conditions like cancer and scarring of the liver. I agree one cannot remove damaged tissue without operating on the organ. One day we may have a stem cell therapy that works. D.
