Just read in the news about a young British woman, Susan Taylor, just died attempting to swim The Channel to raise money for Rainbows Hospice and Diabetes UK. Tragic news, RIP !

Such a shame. I saw a picture of her and she looked so young and healthy. Tragic loss of life

Yes very sad news indeed. What an inspirational woman as well.

I hadn't realised she was raising money for diabetes! It's a shame they didn't make her charities more prominent in the news reports but that's a small matter. It is a horrible thing to happen, especially to someone who was trying to make a difference and improve the lives of other people. Very sad!
