The easiest solution is if you have compulsory voting is the mandatory inclusion of a "none of the above" choice. (problem s that this candidate might top the poll : embarrassing for the candidates)The problem is, as far as I see it, if you have no faith in any of the candidates, who do you vote for?
That would explain the 1945 general election, then.....If voting changed anything it would be illegal.
After a long hard war the people wanted Churchill gone. That would explain the 1945 general election, then.....
Pure cynicism is as unrealistic as pure optimism -- it doesn't help anyone.
I don't call it cynicism I call it a political decision to not vote for pigs in a trough. That would explain the 1945 general election, then.....

Hopefully so, I keep telling my kids what a privilege it is to have the right to vote, if you don't vote you can't change things, simple as that.
He certainly doesn't, as he's dead! (Shame as he would make a great pope <G> see him in "Dogma")Ok so this guy is American but the principal is the same.
A funny look at why this guy doesn't vote.
Careful mate or you'll be doffing your cap next.I agree that it is a privilege to vote although I think the voting system is flawed -
Party X may be the best option for my town/district
Party Y may be the best option for my county
Party Z may be the best option for the country
Let's vote for each of those and count all of the votes, proportional representation isn't fair (just my opinion of course)
WRONG, to be able to vote is a hard won privilege IMHO, and with it comes the duty to do so responsibly.Voting is a right not a privilege.
It's a right or you're suggesting our rulers are in fact our owners who allow us privileges.WRONG, to be able to vote is a hard won privilege IMHO, and with it comes the duty to do so responsibly.
Money should stop being created at interest by banks out of thin air.
No ... banks really do create money out of nothing. It's not created out of thin air, your bank use your money to 'invest' in high risk strategies, the winnings from this gamble, oops I mean the return on this investment is then shared out amongst the unwitting investors, after the bosses have taken their cut obviously.
When a government creates and circulates it's own currency money is created as a unit of value.
It's a right or you're suggesting our rulers are in fact our owners who allow us privileges.
We are not children.
hmmmm can we fight anyway? its a bit cold for alton towers tbh
It may well have been a privilege that someone fought for you but what they won was a right. It's been shown in history that when a government creates and circulates it's own currency, it eventually becomes worthless
My opinion is a right, the fact that many before me have fought for me to have a vote makes it a privilege
