Oh. Well do you have any ideas for things I could make? (I'm from Florida so cold weather clothes and scarves would be impractical)
Knitted/crochet toys?
Cotton crochet baby blankets?
Crochet/knitted cotton bath rugs/mats...
Oven gloves/mitts in heavyweight cotton

did the pad part in double thickness cotton and made it so you have pocket for your hand on either side of each pad so that makes it even thicker.
Problem is getting people to pay what they are worth (and to cover more than cost of raw materials

Forgot you asked about things for kids, not to sell to raise funds.
Bibs for the babies? Snuggies (little comfort blankets) and I know a site where you can download free patterns. Link it later.

Also try

allfreeknitting.com

They send me so many free patterns I've had to set up a separate email address to stop it clogging my email. Lots are baby things, household things and shawl type things, which are adaptable and great in warm climates too. Lacy stuff too.

Oh good, someone else who makes jewellery. I posted some pictures of the stuff I make a while ago

image.jpeg All the crafts are lovely. I do cross stitch, knitting and crochet. I find it very relaxing and does help if you are keeping diabetes under control. Too busy crafting instead of eating in between meals. This is a cushion I cross stitched for my granddaughter Mollie.

Your bags are fabulous.

thanks! Those were some of my first creations but now I've really mastered my skills and do some better ones. Having gone back to work means I don't get so much time to promote it but still get orders here and there....

Here's one I did in Monday for a French lady!!

Going up to see the exhibition tomorrow. Kinda dreading it. I'm nervous about how the new paintings fit in with the others. I'm not worried about the older ones, they're very "grown up", very "fine art", but the new ones are more like the stuff I used to do, before I quit art for music. Back then my art teacher said I'd never make a fine artist, but that I'd make a "bloody good illustrator". It really upset me. I'm worried now that my more illustrative work will look childish next to the others and not be well received. I like doing the new stuff. The old stuff has got a bit stale.

I've really liked the pieces you have shown us. I'm sure the exhibition will be fine.....

I think they're excellent and you're so talented. It's hard though when you put your work out there for others to critique. It's like a piece of you. X

was up there today. One of mine sold while I was there. An old one, a dark sea scape. I was really surprised and pleased. - It's 2.5hrs from here. There are about 100 paintings in the exhibition and only 4 are mine. - what were the odds of that??
