Diabetics R Us

Morning all

We're going away again for the weekend in the motorhome , off straight after work

Have a good weekend folks.

H :)

Question for you folks, I have noticed one or two people who used to be members but now have guest under their avatars so was wondering why the change? What are the benefits, if any?

It means they are no longer members .........no benefit to that..........

So they have given up membership but still visit/comment as a guest, makes no sense to me at all. Can a guest pose questions, post threads etc?

As far as I understand it they can visit and read all posts, as its an open forum, but cannot comment on threads........not sure about asking questions and the rest of it......I'm sure someone will come along and enlighten us at some point........:bag:

Thanks, Satindoll.

Just noticed, you're almost on 40,000 likes! Good day Cumbs.

Hello Guzzler
It started off a bit dull this morning but now at just after 3pm the sun is out and shining brightly

Hope you are having good weather in your neck of the woods

Nah, it has been grey all day here in W.Yorks. Good news though, I won a £5 bet with my middle XL son. I bet that my blackberry cane would straddle my garden (my garden is triangular so the cane is not 39' or anything) and indeed it has! He put it in a year ago but never having grown them before I just allowed it to scramble along the fence until one shoot went sideways and he entwined it around the washing line supposedly temporarily but it has reached the opposite end and shows no sign of stopping. Good job its thornless, that stuff'll have your eye out!

They’re vigorous growers and only one thing on their mind to grow like billy-oh

Please yourself Guzzler
I tend to let things grow and then shape them or force them to grow a certain way
I used to do this in my old garden especially with clematis and honeysuckle

I love climbers, my garden is tiny so I grow stuff upwards. There are now eight climbers and plans for more.
The latest are two Akebia (chocolate vines) and I can't wait for them to flower. Probably won't get fruit but you never know.

edited to add.
Make that nine, I forgot about the climbing hydrangea. I dislike hydrangeas but the climbing one tolerates deep shade so that one is growing up the back of the garage.

Guzzler sounds like you have a lovely garden
I just have a teeny weeny plot of land compared to the old garden which was like a park and too much hard work
