@heh What was the outcome if that's not too personal. I mean the BP monitoring. Hope it was good.Morning all
Slept quite well with the BP monitor, I only remember it waking me up twice and I was already awake when it went off at 5am
Have a good day.

@karen8967 Hi karen I'm in Australia. Big time difference.Where abouts are you from moggely![]()
@heh yes you would have heard. No news is always good news. I was curious as i was going to have that test. Have white coat hypertension and it's perfect at home. Weird.I haven't heard from the doctor yet - going with no news is good newsI'm sure if it was bad I'd have heard from them.
Same here, that was the third 24hr monitor I've had in the last 4-5 years and the other 2 have been fine after showing borderline-high in the doctor's surgery. But at least they are looking after me. If I get a result I'll let you know.@heh yes you would have heard. No news is always good news. I was curious as i was going to have that test. Have white coat hypertension and it's perfect at home. Yes it was unpleasant to say the least and treated it with some fast acting carbs though have to admit the low 4's leave me feeling a bit off I prefer to be in the fives or there abouts. But every one differs in some respect so you have to find your own level that suits you best.Hi @JohnEGreen thanks for that. I don't think I hypo but I do get very very hungry and shaky! But the lowest I've seen is 4.2 I think. You must feel pretty rough at 2.2 don't you? Do you treat it as a hypo and take something high sugar immediately?
I have been taking meds for high BP for years now but have never had a 24 hour test.. When I had the stents grafted for the AAA my BP dropped so far that they delayed my discharge from hospital as it was too low. And even though my BP is reasonable now am still on the meds not sure why.Same here, that was the third 24hr monitor I've had in the last 4-5 years and the other 2 have been fine after showing borderline-high in the doctor's surgery. Good luck with your test.
They are a good stroke preventer in difficult times where your BP has a tendency to raise. All the plants in the garden are withered. The lawns are like dusty straw, so we need to use the vacuum cleaner instead of the lawn mower on it. Yet we must be doing something right as there are young frogs in the mini pond we made from old washing up bowls and a family of hedgehogs visit every night.
