Try nail polishe remover or rubbing alcohol

Don't own anything like this.
Found that it's less yuck now it's dry and decided to ignore any remaining yuckiness until tomorrow with the help of @heh 's extra hug. Will walk barefoot all day tomorrow, that should get rid of the last slippery-when-wet-ness.

another hot day in Norfolk but we travel home tomorrow right through the storm. Heavy rain and strong gusty winds with weather warnings. Should be wonderful (not) driving over Saddleworth Moors on the M62. Wish us luck!

Goodnight all! We had a nice little campfire in the back of the garden tonight and lovely weather all day, so walking my slug-slippery foot clean was a pleasure. Got some funny looks in the supermarket, walking barefoot, but happy to say I can't find a trace of slugness under the dirt from my garden
I'll take my black muddy feet to bed now and have an extra reason to change the sheets tomorrow!

Edit: I've heard nettles are good for preventing arthritis. Going by the itch on my lower legs and feet after walking back and forth between campfire and drinks, and on my hands and arms after collecting firewood, I should be completely safe from getting arthritis now

Alan & I had our flu jabs today, got a lumpy tender arm now.
Watched the royal wedding this evening, very nice.
