apparently they are doing that a lot, saying they did not recieve the forms back when they have not actually sent them, it s a disgracei get DLA and got a mini bank statement and my DLA hadn,t been paid in
i rang the DLA department (was on hold for nearly an hour) and they said it had stopped so i asked why
they said they sent me a P.I.P form out 2 months ago as my DLA was due for renewal, and to apply for P.I.P
i said that i had not received a P.I.P form. they are going to send another form
i doubt very much that i would get P.I.P
i.m going to really miss the money

Just for information, DLA told me last week that people on indefinite claims will start to receive PIP form from october, however they did say it could take years before you get your form.

Different areas, defined by home postcodes of people on DLA, have different timescales for changing over from DLA to PIP. All new applicants have to apply for PIP now. PIP is only for working age people, so under 16s still apply for DLA and over 60s still apply for Attendance Allowance, or can keep DLA if already in receipt.
Having to live with that sense of doom really doesn't help said:So "all in it together" means the wealthy paying even more so the poor don't have to bother? Of course it hurts the poor more. Unfortunately Capitalism, socialism and even communism favour the rich. Everything favours the rich.
Actually, I think that has generally been shown not to be the case.Proportionally in terms of tax the wealthy actually pay a lot more
I'm still not sure about making the wealthy pay more. I think the economy effects everyone, yes of course someone who has more money to start with will have more money left, but why should they be penalised for working hard?
Of course there will be the odd exception where a person cannot engage in any sort of work.
But lets take Stephen Hawking as an example, do "our hearts bleed" for him because he is wealthy? or because he is disabled?
As someone on a pension and having to work part time to just survive, I resent the fact that somebody who is wealthy or multi nationals, would rather pay a tax adviser to try and avoid paying the right amount of tax and getting away with millions because they bank in a tax haven or 'reside' elsewhere.
If they closed this type of loophole in the favoured for the rich tax system,we would all pay a lot less tax and we would all be able to afford more for the less fortunate.
The fact that even a part time minimum wage job, I'm still paying tax and national insurance. It beggars belief. I'm also paying tax on my pension which I have already been taxed on when contributing.
If the benefit system favoured claimants as does the tax system. Then my wife could claim on her own stamp, but she can't because of my pension. Tax is individual, though there is a married allowance.
My wife is disabled and before having to give up work, always worked.
Myself, I have never had a day on the dole in my life. Very rare in Merseyside.
We have never claimed for anything. We only received family allowance.
We've asked for help, We tried to claim, been told my pension is £5 per week above the limit for claiming.
Been to court, won the case, and still got nowt!
My housing and power living costs come to two thirds of my pension.
There are thousands, like us, stuck without money, a living nightmare, paying off one against the other.
I want to work, I love my job,, but why should I have to work at my age? That's what my pension was for wasn't it? Wish I didn't get one, I would be better off without one. That's a joke!
This country is so **** about face the way it treats its own people (or subjects).
Fair Britain, great Britain, only if you can afford it!
Apologies Ally,COME ON GUYS - GIVE ALLY A BREAK HERE. SURELY IF YOU WANT TO ARGUE THIS, YOU CAN HAVE ANOTHER THREAD?
WE SHOULD BE TRYING TO SUPPORT ALL IN HER QUEST FOR DLA, NOT BICKERING OVER TAX.
